NOC is the freaky invention of Hump Day Project party warrior Steve Lind and Troublemakers own red rave donkey Derty Rich. Steve and Rich met at the nadir of Steve’s gun running days, when the stakes were high and to kill a man was often nothing but good business. Rich was a powerful young enforcer with a bad ass rep who knew nothing but a life of crime and gangsta rap.

The first meeting took place at a dark underground club where Rich was freestyling some fresh material as his rap alter ego ‘Redonkulous Derty Raoul’. Steve was trying to unwind with a few drinks, questioning his life after killing so many men and wondering if there was a way out of the game for him. Just then somebody shot the DJ for dropping a country music record and Steve just reacted. Before you could say ‘bling’ Steve was behind the decks, scratching that record like a homeless guy on crack and Redonkulous Derty Raoul kept spittin truth bombs about life on the mean streets. After blowing up the show the two boys got drunk as a bitch. Rich decided to give up the rap game and start DJing like his new hero Steve. NOC was born. They kept it crazy underground till 2009, when they knew it was finally time to unleash the party madness on the world.

NOC stay true to their gangsta roots with bouncy party joints that never sacrifice ghetto street cred. They do this cause they’ve seen shit. The kind of shit that leaves a mark on a man. No matter how far into the dance music stratosphere these two OG white boys rise, no matter how many bitches throw themselves at the NOC, no matter how much clothing, shoes, sports cars and gold jewellery they amass, the NOC still remember the streets. Their very first bootleg remix together has already got mad props on Noiseporn as well as being thrashed in clubs all around the world by every DJ who has any kind of taste.
